Much of a muchness

You would have heard of the myth that there would always be 7 persons, at any point of time, looking like one in the world. I am sometimes accosted by complete strangers asking "Hi, Fill-in-some-name-here! How are you? What are you doing here?". It's always sad to snatch away the cup of joy from their lips, but it has to be done. Having realized that i am not that "Fill-in-the-same-name-as-above", they leave embarrassed with a liberal dose of "Sorry!", "You look exactly like my friend" etc. Why it happens to me, I don't know.

But this post isn't about me. This is about how few celebrities that look like dead-ringers of others. Here are a few Cricketers who, in some way, look like other celebrities.

Shane Watson / Patrick Swayze

"What's Shane Watson doing in this film?" is what was struck me when I was watching the movie "Road House. This is a strange coincidence of celebrities looking similar.



Ross Taylor / Tiger Woods

I admit, they don't look much similar, but there is a small resemblance between Ross Taylor and Tiger Woods.

Ricky Ponting / George Bush

A classic. :)

Harbhajan sing would have said that Andrew Symonds look like our predecessors, but I am buying that. :P

There are, actually, some more personalities that are look-alike, but that's it for this post.
